I didn't expect such a fine place. I would stay here again. We stayed here for 2 nights, it was comfortable. The location was indeed perfect, next to the attractions in the area, and Barnstaple and other centres of interest. It was based to the town centre Barnstable.

We chose Hardwick for a break in north Devon and it turned out to be the perfect base for exploring the area. The self-contained flat on the first floor had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and reliable wifi. The host, Jacky, and her family were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The flat had a small patio with a lovely view of the rolling hills and gardens. The off-road parking was convenient and the quiet location meant no road noise, even with the windows open during the hot weather.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Hardwick Flat in the north Devon area. the self-contained flat on the first floor had all the facilities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, shower, and reliable wifi. the view from the back was beautiful and the area was tranquil, perfect for a break from the busy city life. the location was convenient, with shops, restaurants, and attractions only a short drive away.
The only minor issue we encountered was that the bed in the flat was a little lumpy, but this is to be expected in a rental property. However, despite this, the flat was clean and tidy, with towels being changed halfway through the week.

The location of the flat in Barnstaple is ideal, as it is on the outskirts of the town yet close to all amenities. the flat itself is cosy and tastefully decorated, with a very good kitchen. the hosts are friendly and helpful, providing useful advice and fixing any issues promptly. Guests can also enjoy their own private garden area with beautiful countryside views.
One downside mentioned by a guest was that the shower compartment was a tight squeeze.

My recent stay at Hardwick Flat was fantastic. The flat itself was ideally situated and very well laid out. I loved the clean and pretty decor, it created such a cute atmosphere. The hosts were excellent, especially Theo who helped me with all my belongings into the flat. The bed was comfortable, and I slept so well with the beautiful goose feather quilt. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay.
